Modupe Helen Ayinde

M H Ayinde was born in London’s East End, and studied English at university. She’s worked as a video games reviewer, magazine sub editor, television researcher, and book publicist. She is a runner, a screen time enthusiast, and has been known to hustle at Vegas card tables. Her short fiction can be found or is forthcoming in FIYAH Literary Magazine, F&SF, Daily Science Fiction and elsewhere, and she was the 2021 winner of the Future Worlds Prize. She is currently a copy-editor at Strange Horizons, and also works in broadcasting. She lives in a house full of books and DVDs, with three generations of her family and their assorted feline overlords.
